If you are concerned about the digital aspect and user friendliness, the owner, Jake, had his 89 and 84 year-old grandparents volunteer to give it a try, and they did it with ease, as have many of our non-digital-native Clients

The only construction “know-how” you need is this:
For open concepts, like if a living room and a kitchen are open, treat them like 2 separate rooms when capturing.
Don’t just document the damaged rooms; document anything that might be continuous from the damage.
Example 1: Let’s say you live in a single-story home with one type of flooring throughout the entire home without any transitions. If the kitchen has 500 square feet of that flooring taken out, then we will need to scan the entire home.
Example 2: Let’s say you live in a single-story home with one type of flooring throughout the entire home, but there are transitions between every room. Insurance will only allow us to go up to the transitions for replacement, so you will only need to document the rooms with damage up to the point of those transitions.
Don’t overthink it.
